Alpine stages of Tour de France 2026

As I mentioned several times, all across this website, the pure existence of this blog roots in its main topic's connection to the world famous road cycling event Tour de France.

Tour de France visited the Alps for the very first time in 1911 (one year after its first visit in the Pyrenees) and returns to the place every year since then.

In 2026, Tour de France starts on 4th July and fimishes on 26th July.  The decisive stages of the last week take place in the Alps.

The uniqeness of this year's edition is the double appearance of Alpe d'Huez both at the end of 19th and 20th Stages
